Australian Geographic Travel Offers

Looking for a holiday that connects with Australia’s wildlife, culture, community, conservation and natural environments?

We have teamed up with Australian Geographic Travel to provide a series of limited departures featuring scientists, artists, conservationists, chefs and other experts, combined with our acclaimed expert naturalist guides.

What makes these departures so special?

  • Exclusive Access: We will explore private natural reserves or conservation areas unavailable or unknown to the general public, including Cygnet Park and Pelican Lagoon Research Station on Kangaroo Island, the Shared Earth Reserve in Far North Queensland, remote Southwest Tasmanian locations like Malaleuca and vast coastal dune systems on the Eyre Peninsula.

  • Experts: Outside experts across various passion points will share their stories and insights, including award-winning sculptor Ken Martin and Chef Kris Bunda on the Eyre Peninsula, world echidna expert, Dr Peggy Rismiller on Kangaroo Island, ornotholigist and Orange-bellied Parrot expert Mark Holdworth in Southwest Tasmania and Koala Researcher Janine Duffy in East Gippsland.

  • Conservation Actions: We will give back to the precious ecosystems enjoyed throughout the itinerary, with hands on conservation and citizen science opportunities with organisations such as the Koala Clancy Foundation, Landcare, the Australian Quoll Conservancy, Eyre Peninsula Landscapes Board, Kangaroo Island Land For Wildlife and BioR Australia.
